Tottenham are interested in signing Norwich City midfielder James Maddison, according to The Mirror.
Liverpool are also said to be keen on the 21-year-old, who has scored six goals and provided five assists in the Championship this season.
It’s very unlikely Maddison will leave Norwich this month, mainly because the Canaries are set to allow another attacking midfielder – former Spurs youngster Alex Pritchard – leave Carrow Road for Huddersfield.
But The Mirror suggests Tottenham and Liverpool could battle it out for Maddison’s signature in the summer.
Spurs could do with some competition for Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, and I wouldn’t put it past the club to go for a young English player with potential rather than a readymade superstar.
