Toby Alderweireld is expected to train with the first team squad next week, according to Belgian football journalist Kristof Terreur.
The centre-back has been out of action since injuring his hamstring in Tottenham’s historic 3-1 victory over Real Madrid at Wembley back in November.
Last month, some reports claimed Alderweireld could remain sidelined until April, but it appears those suggestions were wide of the mark.
Terreur, who is often reliable when it comes to news about Belgian players, revealed on Twitter that Alderweireld should be fully fit in February.

That means he will be available for the matches against Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus – let’s hope so, anyway.
We need Auderwield to get back into team then we can really challenge Man U Chelski, Liverpool I even say 2nd place possible if he returns.
