Tottenham are interested in signing Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz, according to reports in Spain.
The Spaniard, who is also said to be wanted by Manchester United and Leicester City, has a £13.2 million release clause.
Spanish outlet Marca claims Betis are set to offer Ruiz a new deal that will see his value rise.
The 21-year-old has made 15 appearances in La Liga this season, scoring twice and providing two assists.
Spurs have been linked with a number of midfielders over the last few weeks following suggestions the club is targeting a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele.
The Ruiz story hasn’t been picked up by any credible publications in England – until then, it’s merely speculation.
