Mauricio Pochettino has played down reports Tottenham are set to sign Bordeaux winger Malcom this month.
The 20-year-old Brazilian has been heavily linked with a £40 million move to Spurs.
But Pochettino didn’t seem keen to talk about the rumours after Tottenham’s 1-1 draw at Southampton on Sunday.
“That is a rumour and I don’t want to speak about it,” Pochettino said. (Quotes via Goal.)
“I am happy with our squad. We are open to quality players, but it is difficult in this transfer window.”
It’s worth noting that Pochettino very rarely speaks about transfers until deals are confirmed, so don’t rule anything out.
