The final few minutes of Tottenham’s 2-2 draw at Liverpool were so frantic, it’s easy to forget we had witnessed one of the goals of the seasons a few moments earlier.
Spurs trailed for most of the contest following Mo Salah’s early goal. The visitors created a few half-chances but a breakthrough seemed unlikely.
That was until Loris Karius punched the ball out to substitute Victor Wanyama, who rifled a thunderous drive into the top corner.
It was a stunning goal by a player who doesn’t score often. You can watch it again below – it gets better every time.
