Toby Alderweireld has dropped a huge hint he will return to Tottenham’s starting line-up for Wednesday night’s FA Cup replay against Newport County.
The Belgian limped off with a hamstring injury in Spurs’ historic 3-1 victory over Real Madrid on November 1st and hasn’t played since.
He has been back in training for over a week, but Mauricio Pochettino opted against risking him against Manchester United or Liverpool.

However, a Twitter post on Wednesday morning suggested Alderweireld is set to play a part against Newport.
