Tottenham welcome Huddersfield Town to Wembley in the Premier League on Saturday, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

In the reverse fixture at the John Smith’s Stadium back in September, Spurs ran out 4-0 winners thanks to a Harry Kane double and strikes from Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko.

Kane and Davies are sure to return to the starting line-up after being rested in the midweek FA Cup win over Rochdale.

In fact, Pochettino will almost certainly restore nearly the entire line-up that faced Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend.

Jan Vertonghen has returned to full training following an ankle injury, but he might not be risked with Juventus just around the corner. Toby Alderweireld (hamstring) is unavailable.

Eric Dier dropped into the back four at Palace, allowing Victor Wanyama to come into the midfield. That’s likely to happen against on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Heung-Min Son just about outshone Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura against Rochdale – I think he’s earned a place in the line-up here.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Huddersfield – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

Spurs XI v Huddersfield Home

  1. Not a bad side but with Juventus next and given what we saw against Rochdale …I would go with the L line: Llorente Lamela Lucas to start in a 3 4 3. Sanchez Vertongen Dier at the back Walker-Peters Ericksen Alli Rose. As a BIG team we have to be able to start some fringe players and show tactical flexibility

  2. Again for tactical flexibility an alternative 3 5 2 is also suggested. Son Llorente up front back 3 of Vertongen Sanchez Dier and left to right Rose Lamela Winks Sissoko Lucas 30 mins each for Kane Alli Ericksen off the bench for Llorente Lucas and Lamela

  3. Son Kane

    Lucas. Erickson. Lamela.

    Dembele. Wanyama.

    Lucas. Diet. Sanchez. Trippier.

    Bench. Alli, Sissoko, Winks,Rose,

  4. I think llorente deserve a start after that hatrick reserving harry till later in the match we have juve in wed we need Harry more for that, also moura for Erickson
