It’s been a difficult couple of seasons for Erik Lamela, who was sidelined for over a year after undergoing surgery on both hips.
But following his return to full fitness late last year, the Argentinian has been showing glimpses of his best form lately for Tottenham.
He played a crucial part in February’s comeback draw at Juventus in the Champions League, and his goals and assists have helped Spurs reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Lamela has always been a divisive figure among the supporters, but his recent displays have surely swayed a few of his critics.
