Tottenham travel to the Bet365 Stadium to take on struggling Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side opened up an eight point gap on Chelsea last weekend with their first league win at Stamford Bridge for 28 years.

Spurs must use the momentum from that victory to close the gap on the teams above them, and Pochettino has a couple of key selection decisions to make to ensure that happens.

In his press conference on Friday, the Tottenham boss suggested Harry Kane is ready to feature from the start against Stoke after training with the rest of the team all week.

That means Erik Lamela is likely to be the unfortunate player who will drop to the bench despite impressing against Chelsea – Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son have all done more than enough to retain their starting places.

Elsewhere, there is a good chance Pochettino will go with an unchanged side. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see rotation at full-back, but a lack of midweek games over the next two weeks means that isn’t a necessity.

  1. Aurier and Rose will be needed against City’s pace next week.

    Lloris
    Trippier Sanchez Jan Davies
    Dembele Dier
    Moura Dele Son
    Kane

Give Eriksen and Lamela a rest then bring one on for Kane after an hour and Son goes up top!
Toby and Wanyama to get 20-25 mins
