Tottenham welcome Premier League champions-elect Manchester City to Wembley on Saturday evening for a rare 7.45pm kick-off.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are unbeaten in the league since losing 4-1 in the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium back in December.
Spurs are on course to win their seventh successive Premier League game, while City will be desperate to avoid a fourth straight defeat in all competitions.
With all of that in mind, Pochettino has a couple of decisions to make regarding his team selection.
For the most part, the line-up should resemble the XI that won 2-1 at Stoke City last weekend.
However, Danny Rose has been ruled out with a calf injury, so Ben Davies will return at left-back. I’d also expect Kieran Trippier to replace Serge Aurier on the right.
Despite his shaky cameo at Stoke, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Eric Dier come back into the team, replacing Victor Wanyama in central midfield.
The rest of the team will almost certainly be unchanged.
Here’s our predicted XI to face Manchester City – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.
I think Lamela should replace Son for this game. Of late he has been brilliant.
