Tottenham have made Manchester United forward Anthony Martial a top transfer target, according to the London Evening Standard.
Earlier this week, reports suggested Spurs and United might be willing to do business over two players – Martial and Toby Alderweireld.
Martial was linked with Tottenham before he joined United in 2015 but the Manchester club managed to strike a deal first.
The Frenchman has been in and out of the team under Jose Mourinho and is expected to seek an exit from Old Trafford this summer.
Alderweireld is likely to leave Spurs after failing to agree terms on a new contract earlier this year.
United are said to be interested in the Belgian, and he could swap clubs with Martial with both players believed to be valued at around £45 million.
The Standard is now claiming Martial is one of Tottenham’s top transfer targets as Mauricio Pochettino targets a player who can provide competition and cover for Harry Kane.
Martial apparently earns £65,000 a week, which isn’t thought to be a problem for Spurs.
Chelsea are also reportedly keen on Martial – it will be interesting to see where the 22-year-old ends up.
