Jan Vertonghen has commended his Tottenham teammate Davinson Sanchez following a successful first season in England.
Sanchez joined from Ajax for a club record fee last summer and has made 40 appearances across all competitions in his debut season for Spurs.
The 21-year-old has become a key part of Tottenham’s back line alongside Jan Vertonghen, who was named player of the season by the fans.
Vertonghen, also formerly of Ajax, explained to Spurs TV how well Sanchez has done by adapting to the Premier League at such a young age.
