PSV Eindhoven are interested in signing Vincent Janssen but Tottenham may need to lower their asking price first, according to reports in the Netherlands.
Janssen joined Spurs from AZ Alkmaar for a fee in the region of £17 million in the summer of 2016.
However, the Dutchman endured a difficult debut season in England, scoring only six goals across all competitions including just two in the Premier League.
Last summer he was sent on a season-long loan to Fenerbahce, where things didn’t go much better – Janssen scored five goals in 17 games in Turkey during an injury-hit campaign.
Recent reports suggested a number of clubs – including Bayer Leverkusen, Lazio, Sevilla and his former club AZ – want to sign Janssen this summer despite his lack off form.
And now, Dutch publication Eindhoven Dagblad claims PSV are interested in signing Janssen, but a deal will be difficult as Tottenham want to recoup what they paid for the 23-year-old.
It seems the only way Janssen will leave Spurs this summer is if the Londoners lower their asking price.
