Inter Milan have hired an intermediary agent to help them push through a deal for Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele, according to reports in Italy.

Dembele has just one year left on his contract and is expected to leave Spurs in the coming weeks – he has been heavily linked with a move to either Italy or China.

Inter Milan have been mooted as his most likely desintation, and some reports from Italy have claimed the Serie A giants have made a number of offers for Dembele without getting anywhere.

Earlier this week, it was suggested Inter are willing to offer a player to Tottenham as part of any deal for Dembele in order to tempt the Londoners into lowering their £26 million asking price.

And now, according Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Inter have hired FIFA agent Gabriele Giuffrida as an intermediary.

That means Giuffride will help Inter’s quest to take Dembele to the Bernabeu by liaising with Spurs in order to come to some sort of agreement.

Whether that appointment will have any effect on Tottenham’s hard stance remains to be seen.

  1. mossa is worth much more than 26m and i would prefer to keep him — he might be willing to extend his contract for another 2 years and where would you find a talent like him for this kind of money

  2. Fancy that, an intermediary being called in to negotiate on behalf of the Italians so called giants. Don’t they have any English speakers within their crumbling empire?
Italian sport news outlets are just as bad as the Spanish twats who are marginally worse than the British excuse for news outlets. All are a pack of first class liars. Its a shame that some blogs are run by sheep on 2 legs who are simply cut and paste merchants incapable of thinking as independents.

  3. Haha.. R U serious Mad Dog?Inter, with more trophies than all London clubs together, is second rate club? Haha…f…new stupid generetion of football “followers”.
