Tottenham are interested in signing Jack Grealish and the Aston Villa midfielder is keen to complete a move, according to the London Evening Standard.
Grealish emerged as a top transfer target for Spurs last month, although talk of a potential deal has gone quiet in recent weeks.
And the Standard is now echoing those reports, claiming Spurs want to sign Grealish for £15-£20 million but Villa are holding out for at least £30 million.
The Championship club appear to be in a bit of a mess at the moment – reports claim they need to raise £40 million because of cash-flow problems involving the owner.
A number of Villa’s executive staff members have been laid off, so the chances of any deals being done – in or out – are likely to be slim at the moment.
The Standard believes Grealish is keen to join Tottenham but may have to wait until closer to the end of the transfer window for a deal to be done.
