Arsenal and Manchester United have entered the race to sign Tottenham target Ante Rebic, according to reports in Germany.
Rebic has been one of the breakout stars of the World Cup. The Eintracht Frankfurt attacker has been in admirable form for Croatia, who beat England 2-1 on Wednesday to reach the final against France.
The 24-year-old scored a brilliant volley in his country’s 3-0 group stage victory over Argentina and has been generally impressive throughout the tournament.
As a result, he has been linked with a move away from Frankfurt. Reports earlier this week suggested Tottenham, Everton and Bayern Munich are all competing for his signature.
And now, German outlet Bild (via football.london) claims Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in the former Fiorentina man.
Frankfurt were apparently willing to sell Rebic for £26.3 million before the World Cup, but his performances in Russia have seen his valuation sky-rocket.
That price tag is likely to increase even more if Rebic plays well in the World Cup final. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris in Moscow on Sunday.
There is no race,he is well above Levy’s price so he will not come to Spurs.Peter Crouch is my bet.
