Paris Saint-Germain have held talks with the agent of Tottenham defender Danny Rose, according to reports in France.

Earlier this month, reports emerged claiming Spurs would listen to offers for Rose, as well as Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele.

All three players failed to secure moves away from the club before the Premier League’s August 9th transfer deadline, but that doesn’t mean they won’t move abroad before the end of the month.

The transfer windows in Spain, Italy and France close on August 31st, and Rose has been linked with a loan move to German side Schalke 04.

However, French outlets Le Parisien (via Get French Football News) and Paris United (via @RickSpur) claim PSG have spoken with Rose’s agent about a possible move to the Ligue 1 champions.

Rose’s future at Tottenham has been uncertain ever since the 28-year-old criticised the club’s wage structure and ambition in the transfer window in August last year.

Mauricio Pochettino has already hinted that all of his players will be given a fresh start this season, but Rose wasn’t even on the bench for Saturday’s 2-1 win at Newcastle United.

  1. He always said he WILL get back up north… Guess this is it… Northern Boy through and through… Cant take that away from him

  2. Don’t let him leave , watching the team Saturday I could see the same liabilities.

I like the option when We need the back 3 with Jan, Toby and Davinson Tripper and Rose wide.

  3. Rose to PSG would be good for all parties. His best position is wing back but his frailty as it relates to injuries means the PL will be more challenging than Ligue 1
