Dele Alli netted the winner as Tottenham secured a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United on the opening day of the new Premier League season.

Jan Vertonghen opened the scoring with a rare goal, but the hosts instantly replied through Joselu.

Alli then scored the third header of the game within 18 minutes to hand Spurs all three points.

But arguably the 22-year-old’s best moment came early in the second half when he nutmegged former Tottenham defender DeAndre Yedlin without even touching the ball.

It was a brilliant piece of skill from a player who could be set for a big season. Watch it happen below.
