Tottenham are interested in signing 17-year-old winger Elvis Azzah but face competition from Arsenal and West Ham United, according to the Daily Mail.
Azzah was born in Ghana but has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level. He has previously had trials with Manchester United, Everton and Celtic.
The teenager spent pre-season with Cardiff City, who were promoted to the Premier League from the Championship last term.
He has impressed for Cardiff’s Under-18s side, scoring twice in a friendly against West Ham.
But the Welsh club could now face a fight to hold onto Azzah with a trio of London clubs keen to snatch him away.
The Mail claims Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham are all keeping tabs on the youngster, although it’s unclear whether any of them are set to make an official move in the near future.
Tottenham failed to make a single signing during the summer transfer window, so they are likely to be looking at targets for the future.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side take on Fulham at Wembley on Saturday.
