Tottenham face Fulham at Wembley this weekend in their first “home” game of the new Premier League season.

Saturday’s London derby was initially the only scheduled match to take place at Wembley, but delays to the new White Hart Lane-based ground mean Spurs will play multiple games at the national stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side got off to a winning start in the Premier League with last weekend’s 2-1 win at Newcastle United, courtesy of goals from Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli.

The Tottenham boss has hinted he will rotate over the coming weeks, but he will want to retain some stability after the opening weekend victory.

With that in mind, we think Pochettino will make just two changes to the team that beat Newcastle, with Kieran Trippier and Mousa Dembele coming in for Kieran Trippier and Moussa Sissoko.

Erik Lamela and Harry Winks are both back in training but neither player is likely to feature from the start against Fulham. Victor Wanyama still isn’t ready to return.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Fulham – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Possibly drop either Dembele or Dier and bring in Alderweireld, play 3 at the back with attacking wing backs. If well up in the 2nd half, shore up the defensive mid field.

  2. I agree, Jan, Davidson & Toby in the centre of defence. Trips and Rose as attacking wing backs is the way to go. Kane, Alli & Eriksen as definite starters and any other two from Dier, Dembele, Sissoko or Moura. Mix them up when Lamela, Winks & Wanyama are fit. I have left Son out as he is away.

  3. I agree, 3 at the back Rose and Trips running the wings.

Lucas is direct and Dele makes the late runs. Moussa holding up the ball and Eriksen pulling the strings. Dembele must not become lazy and stop tracking back. Lamela for Lucas after 70 and let’s see if Jansen gets a run out? ? ? He needs it.
