Tottenham travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on Bank Holiday Monday, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

The Spurs boss surprised everyone by reverting to a back three and including Toby Alderweireld in his line-up against Fulham last weekend.

Pochettino’s decision paid off in the end, although substitutes Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela played in a big part in the 3-1 win.

That said, there is a good chance Pochettino will stick with the line-up that started against Fulham for Monday’s clash with Manchester United.

A back three will help Tottenham gain control of the game in the early stages, which is vital if the visitors are to pick up their first points at Old Trafford under Pochettino.

Christian Eriksen will be tasked with coming a bit deeper to dictate play in midfield, while Dele Alli and Lucas Moura will provide support for lone striker Harry Kane.

The width will be provided by wing-backs Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Manchester United – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Hi.
Depending who is going to play on the left, maybe switch Eiderweireld and Sanchez around. I feel safer with four at the back though.
