Heung-Min Son’s bid to avoid military service and win a gold medal at the Asian Games continued on Monday as South Korea beat Uzbekistan 4-3 to book their place in the semi-finals.
Tottenham forward Son will not have to serve mandatory military service for his country if South Korea win gold at the tournament. And even though he didn’t score, Son played a key role in his country’s quarter-final victory.
