Tottenham travel to Vicarage Road to take on Javi Gracia’s in-form Watford on Sunday, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

As ruthless as Spurs were in the second half of their memorable 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday, the Londoners struggled in the first half and Pochettino won’t have been pleased with many aspects of the team display.

With that in mind, there is a good chance the Argentinian will revert to a back three against Watford.

That would mean dropping one of the midfielders – most likely Mousa Dembele – and re-introducing Davinson Sanchez to the line-up.

We also think Pochettino will rotate at full-back, with Ben Davies coming in for Danny Rose. However, Kieran Trippier will probably keep his place considering his fine past form against Watford.

Michel Vorm should also replace Hugo Lloris, who has been ruled out with a thigh injury.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Watford – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Dele will start over lamela because lamela can’t play as a box to box midfielder he’s more like a playmaker and to me dele makes the best runs and has always give defenders a hard time, ill always put a player like that in my team and he makes some beautiful passes as well

  2. I’d go with:

    Gazzaniga

    Toby Sanchez Jan

    Tripps Eriksen Dembele Rose

    Dele Lucas

    Kane

Strong defence and with a good balance in attack.
Gazzaniga won’t be physically dominated by Watford, like Vorm would. Rose gives more pace to our attack meaning and would cause there winger to have to defend more and will hopefully unbalance their attack and give us more chances of breaking them down

  3. I like Phils starting XI,
I’m not sure Poch has total confidence in Gazzaniga yet so Vorm will get the nod Moussa needs to start against Doucoure otherwise he’ll give Dier the run around, Rose player like a virgin on Monday he needs to settle down, Victor needs to fix himself up we need him badly.
Lamela needs to get some games behind him he’s awesome when he does.
