Tottenham starlet provided an assist and put in an impressive performance for loan club Excelsior in a 2-2 Eredivisie draw against Willem II on Saturday.
The 19-year-old, who will spend the remainder of the season on loan in the Netherlands, looked confident on the ball and created Excelsior’s second goal – albeit with a simple pass – in the 82nd minute.
Unfortunately the visitors threw away the three points despite leading 2-0 with four minutes remaining, but Edwards’ display was encouraging nonetheless.
You can sometimes see his teammates are frustrated when he doesn’t release the ball at the right time, which is certainly something the teenager can improve.
