Marcus Edwards seems to be enjoying his time in the Eredivisie, where he is on a season-long loan at Excelsior from Tottenham.

The 19-year-old is getting some much needed first-team experience in the Dutch top-flight and has already shown his ability on more than one occasion.

This weekend he started in Excelsior’s 3-3 draw with Heerenveen. And as you’ll see by watching the highlights below, Edwards was one of the best players on the pitch.

His final product could still do with some work, but his dribbling technique is hugely enjoyable to watch.

  1. Unbelievable talent and a great loan move……can he add end product? He does play like Messi but Messi is all about end product he is so classy with his finishing and at Edwards age had probably 50+ senior Goals. However Ronaldo at his age was still a show pony. Notice how he is clearly in a different league but the score goes up and/or down but he doesn’t influence any of these facts……..that’s the next stage. Jadon Sancho has grasped it, can this kid(player not a kid now!)
