Just a day after Tottenham’s penalty shootout victory over Watford in the EFL Cup, Mauricio Pochettino has held a press conference ahead of his side’s Premier League visit to Huddersfield Town this weekend.
Pochettino gave an update on the team news, revealing Christian Eriksen is out of the trip to West Yorkshire but could return for next week’s Champions League meeting with Barcelona. He also disputed the club’s claim on Hugo Lloris’ fitness – read more about that here.
The Argentinian went on to heap more praise on goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga after his shootout heroics against Watford in Milton Keynes.
