Tottenham may have lost to Barcelona on Wednesday night, but their spirited second half performance has drawn plenty of plaudits.
Goals from Harry Kane and Erik Lamela made Barcelona sweat at times, with Messi’s brilliance the only difference between the sides according to Mauricio Pochettino.
Part of Spurs’ second half improvement was down to Harry Winks, who was as good as anyone after the break.
His display was epitomised by an excellent tackle on Messi. The Argentinian proved impossible to stop all night, but Winks admirably managed to sweep the ball away from him. Watch below.
