Tottenham are interested in signing AS Roma forward Cengiz Under, according to reports in Italy.
Spurs were linked with a move for Under in the summer of 2017 when he still played for Super Lig side Basaksehir, but the Turkey international opted for Roma.
Since joining the Serie A club, Under has scored 10 goals in 39 appearances.
And according to Italian outlet Calcio News 24 (via HITC), Tottenham retain an interest in signing the 21-year-old.
It is believed Under’s valuation has sky rocketed to between €50-€60 million, which would require Spurs to break their transfer record.
Calcio News 24 also claims Bayern Munich and Arsenal could have a say on where Under ends up next.
Under can play through the middle or out wide, usually on the right. He has made ten appearances for Turkey national team, scoring ten goals.
Tottenham are well stocked in the wide positions but could do with a central attacker to provide cover and competition for Harry Kane.
Fernando Llorente, who has been linked with a surprise move to Real Madrid this week, isn’t likely to be a Spurs player for much longer, so Mauricio Pochettino might be eager to recruit a new forward.
