Tottenham stars played a central role in England’s memorable victory over Spain in the UEFA Nations League on Monday night.

Harry Kane put in a performance of the highest quality and provided two assists, while Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks held their own against one of the best teams in the world.

Eric Dier was also impressive in front of the back four. Indicative of his overall display was a thunderous early challenge on Spain captain Sergio Ramos, for which he was booked.

  1. How about the “tackle” on an England player in the 2nd half where the Spanish player had both arms around the English player’s waist (Chilwell maybe?). No yellow card there.
