Tottenham could be set for a £100m January spending spree, according to the Express.

Spurs failed to sign a single player over the summer but did manage to hold onto the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele, all of whom were expected to leave.

But with Alderweireld and Dembele both having entered the final year of their current contracts, Tottenham may be forced into the market in January.

And the Express claims the Londoners could spend £100m on three players: Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and West Brom winger Oliver Burke.

Bailly is out of favour at United following a string of poor performances and could be set for a January exit from Old Trafford.

Ndombele is one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe and is also said to be attracting interest from Manchester City.

Burke is a new name on Spurs’ list of reported targets. He was relegated with West Brom last year but could yet have a bright future ahead of him.

I can only see Tottenham signing players in January if others are sold, otherwise fans are likely to be made to wait until next summer for new recruits.
