Tottenham face West Ham United in the EFL Cup tonight, just two days after the Premier League defeat to Manchester City.

It is the second game in a run of four fixtures set to take place in the space of nine days. With that in mind, Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

We think the Spurs boss will make nine changes to the line-up that lost to Manchester City.

Michel Vorm is likely to start between the sticks. The Dutchman came on when Lloris was sent off against PSV Eindhoven, so that probably means he’s still second choice ahead of Paulo Gazzaniga.

Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies could be the only players to stay in the team. Danny Rose might not quite be ready, but Juan Foyth could be handed his first start of the season.

Harry Winks, who impressed from the bench against Manchester City, will almost certainly partner Victory Wanyama in midfield, behind an attacking midfield trio of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son, all of whom were substitutes on Monday.

Fernando Llorente will be handed a rare start up front in order to give Harry Kane a rest.

Here’s our predicted XI to face West Ham – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.
