Paulo Gazzaniga made his debut for Argentina on Tuesday night, coming on as a second half substitute and keeping a clean sheet in at 2-0 victory over Mexico.
The goalkeeper has been in excellent form when called upon for Tottenham this season due to injuries to Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm – he has arguably overtaken Vorm as the club’s second-choice stopper.
As a result, Gazzaniga was called up to the latest Argentina squad. And just 20 minutes into his international debut, he made a fine reaction save from a close-range header. Watch below.
