Mauricio Pochettino has held his Premier League press conference ahead of Tottenham’s midweek clash with Southampton at Wembley.
Spurs will be hoping to bounce back after Sunday’s north London derby defeat to Arsenal, although Pochettino said he was proud of his players’ performance at the weekend.
Before that he gave a fitness update, revealing Kieran Trippier is back in contention to start against the Saints.
Pochettino also defended Jurgen Klopp’s passionate celebrations following Liverpool’s derby victory over Everton that saw the German receive a fine.
