Tottenham’s press officer was determined not to let Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-Everton press conference be dominated by talk of the rumours linking the Spurs boss with Manchester United.
Following Jose Mourinho’s sacking on Tuesday, Pochettino has been tipped to take over at Old Trafford next summer.
Pochettino himself refused to comment on the speculation ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Arsenal in the EFL Cup.
But one journalist pushed the Spurs boss for an answer in a press conference held on Thursday to preview this weekend’s Premier League meeting.
The press officer repeatedly shut down the line of questioning and eventually had to ask for the cameras to be shut off. Watch below.
