Tottenham travel to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

The Argentinian has made a mockery of our predicted XIs lately, and to be honest the line-up he goes with against the Toffees is anyone’s guess.

With a Boxing Day match against Bournemouth at Wembley being the easier game on paper, we think Pochettino will go for his strongest available side at Everton with a couple of exceptions.

Hugo Lloris will return between the sticks, and it sounds like Davinson Sanchez will be fit enough to partner Toby Alderweireld at centre-back to the left of Kieran Trippier.

As a result, Ben Davies will move to left-back, giving Pochettino the opportunity to provide the in-form Danny Rose with a rest – he has just started three games in a row for the first time in ages.

Pochettino will probably to go with the same three-man midfield of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Christian Eriksen that started against Arsenal, although he might turn to Oliver Skipp again. We think the teenager is more likely to play against Bournemouth.

Son Heung-min will need to be managed carefully over the festive period following confirmation he will join up with South Korea in January. Erik Lamela could come in for him, joining Dele Alli and Harry Kane in attack.
