Tottenham are considering a January move for Norwich City starlet Max Aarons, according to the Sun.

Aarons, an 18-year-old right-back, has scored two goals and provided three assists in 18 Championship appearances for Norwich so far this season.

The Sun claims Spurs are among a host of clubs interested in signing the teenager. Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are also said to be keen.

It is believed Tottenham will make a £15 million bid for Aarons in the summer, and Norwich will ask for the young defender to remain on loan at Carrow Road until the end of the season.

Spurs are currently well stocked at right-back with Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters fighting for a place in the side.

Walker-Peters was given a rare opportunity in the Premier League on Boxing Day and provided three first-half assists in the 5-0 win over Bournemouth at Wembley.

Aarons may be put off by the amount of competition at Tottenham but Mauricio Pochettino is renowned for giving youngsters a chance, which may tempt him to choose north London.
