Tottenham welcome Manchester United to Wembley in the Premier League on Sunday aiming for a repeat of the reverse fixture, which Spurs won 3-0 at Old Trafford back in August.

After a busy festive schedule followed by matches in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup, Mauricio Pochettino a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Hugo Lloris will return between the sticks, replacing Paulo Gazzaniga, who played against Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup third round and Chelsea in the EFL semi-final first leg.

Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez are likely to keep their places at centre-back but we might see rotation at full-back, with Serge Aurier and Ben Davies coming in for Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose – even though the latter was named man of the match against Chelsea.

The rest of the team effectively picks itself at the moment. Eric Dier still isn’t ready to return so Harry Winks will sit at the base of the midfield diamond with Moussa Sissoko, Christian Eriksen and Dele Ali ahead of him.

Son Heung-min will almost certainly start in his last match before leaving for the Asian Cup, supporting Harry Kane up front.

Here’s our predicted line-up to face Manchester United – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. did we have a man if the match ? It was backs to the wall. I thought Gazzanigga had another good game.
Winks has played well at times but I’d like to see him play a forward ball more often to break through the lines.

A position I’d like to see Spurs strengthen.

    Left back
    Centre Mid
    Pacey front or wide man
