Tottenham hold an interest in Udinese forward Rodrigo De Paul, according to reports in Italy.

Rodrigo has scored six goals and provided three assists in 19 Serie A performances so far this season, primarily playing on the left wing.

Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web claims the 24-year-old has just changed agents in preparation for a possible move this summer.

The reports goes on to suggest Spurs are the only English club interested in Rodrigo but the Londoners will face competition from Inter Milan and Napoli.

Tottenham are being linked with a number of attackers at the moment because of the current injury crisis in the squad.

Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Dele Alli are all unavailable, and Fernando Llorente struggled to lead the line against Fulham on Sunday.

However, Rodrigo is more of a wide player and Spurs are in need of a centre forward.

The Argentinian could be tempted to join his countrymen Mauricio Pochettino, Erik Lamela, Juan Foyth and Paulo Gazzaniga in north London.

It will be interesting to see if this story picks up any momentum going into the summer.
