Tottenham are keeping tabs on Inter Milan midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to reports in Italy.
Nainggolan was suspended by Inter last month for disciplinary reasons. As a result, he may have fallen out of favour at the San Siro.
Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti (via Sport Witness) claims Inter are keen to sell Nainggolan to a Premier League club – Spurs, Manchester United and Chelsea are all said to hold an interest in the 30-year-old.
Tottenham are reportedly on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele, who left north London for the Chinese Super League earlier this month.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has been heavily linked with Spurs, but the club is likely to be looking at alternatives.
However, it’s difficult to imagine Nainggolan being a genuine option. Mauricio Pochettino has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to poor behaviour, and this isn’t the first time Nainggolan has been in trouble.
The Belgian’s age doesn’t exactly fit Tottenham’s transfer policy either – Nainggolan wouldn’t be a suitable ‘long-term’ fix for Pochettino’s midfield.
