Tottenham are set to make a £30 million offer for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler in the summer, according to ESPN.

Soler, who primarily features on the right but can also play through the middle, is a product of the Valencia youth academy.

The 22-year-old has scored two goals and provided six assists in 28 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring against Manchester United in the Champions League.

ESPN claims Spurs have been watching Soler closely during the current campaign and the Londoners are said to be the frontrunners for his signature.

Tottenham could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, but the French champions may not be able to offer Soler regular first-team football.

Pochettino is believed to be a big fan of the Spain Under-21 international, who will apparently be the subject of a £30 million bid from Spurs at the end of the season.

Whether that will be enough to tempt Valencia into selling is up for debate – Soler is a regular for the La Liga club and they won’t want to lose him.
