Mauricio Pochettino has said Tottenham want to be on the same level as Real Madrid as a club when the Londoners move into their new stadium.

The Spurs boss clarified his comments about the importance of regularly playing in the Champions League over winning the domestic cups.

He said improving the facilities – including the stadium – will improve Tottenham’s chances of winning major titles and reaching the level of the likes of Real Madrid.
