Mauricio Pochettino has urged reports not to twist his words when it comes to his stance on transfers and trophies.

In his press conference ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United, the Tottenham manager said “enough is enough” in regards to the media misinterpreting his stance on certain issues.

He then clarified that he is “so open” to adding players in every transfer window, but explained that the fact he is “happy” with his squad doesn’t mean he is against bringing new players in – it simply means that he is more than happy to work with the players he has at his disposal.

The Argentinian went on to play down suggestions he does not want to win the domestic cups, reiterating that everybody who enters the world of football is in it to win rather than just participate. Watch below.
