Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal in a Premier League north London derby at Wembley this weekend aiming to bounce back from successive defeats against Burnley and Chelsea.
After a poor display at Stamford Bridge, Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.
Jan Vertonghen and Harry Winks both have hip injuries and are set to be assessed before the game to see if they are fit to play.
We think Pochettino will revert to a back three regardless of whether Vertonghen is fit. If Vertonghen isn’t available to join Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez in the back three, Juan Foyth will play.
As for Winks, he’ll partner Moussa Sissoko in central midfield if fit. If not, Victor Wanyama could come into the side or Christian Eriksen could drop deeper, meaning Erik Lamela or Lucas Moura would come into the line-up as an extra attacker.
Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier both struggled against Chelsea so they are likely to be replaced by Danny Rose and Serge Aurier on the flanks. Eriksen will float behind a front two of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
