Tottenham Hotspur travel to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night aiming to finish the job after winning the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie 3-0 at Wembley.

After a bruising week in which Spurs dropped crucial points against Burnley, Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League, Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection in order to avoid embarrassment in Europe.

We think Pochettino will make three changes to the team that drew 1-1 with Arsenal on Saturday.

Kieran Trippier, who hasn’t travelled due to injury, and Danny Rose will almost certainly be replaced by Serge Aurier and Ben Davies. The full-backs will play either side of a back three consisting of Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen.

Victor Wanyama is unlikely to start a second successive match given his fitness issues. With Harry Winks a doubt, the ever divisive Erik Lamela will probably come into the side, allowing Christian Eriksen to drop slightly deeper and partner Moussa Sissoko.

Lamela will look to get forward and support Son Heung-min and Harry Kane up front.

Here’s our predicted line-up to face Dortmund – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

  1. C’mon Steve – you’ve been around long enough to know that ridiculous negativity does not enhance your reputation. What is the point of “forever divisive”. It’s not true. It’s not funny. It’s nonsensical blither.

  2. I would be very surprise if Tottenham get’s beat bye Dortmund 3-0 or 4-0 but then again Tottenham would be to good for Dortmund

  3. I don’t mind that line up but if Lamela was to play deeper within Eriksen further forward then Lamela is more likely to put his foot in
