Tottenham Hotspur could sell five senior players this summer including Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen, according to the Daily Mail.
Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen are also said to be on their way out.
Alderweireld and Eriksen are both out of contract at the end of next season. Alderweireld is expected to leave at the end of the season after activating a £25 million release clause that can be triggered in the final two weeks of the transfer window.
As for Eriksen, the Dane has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and Spurs may be forced to sell this summer or risk losing him for nothing a year later.
Rose has been tipped to leave several times over the last couple of years but remains an important part of the squad. That said, he could be deemed surplus to requirements if Tottenham sign a new left-back in the summer.
Victor Wanyama has struggled with knee injuries over the last two seasons and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him depart at the end of the current campaign.
Vincent Janssen is currently training with the first-team but doesn’t look like breaking into the matchday squad any time soon.
