Tottenham Hotspur are one of a host of clubs keeping tabs on Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, according to Team Talk.
Skriniar, who joined Inter from Sampdoria in the summer of 2017, has made 25 league appearances so far this season and has developed into one of the best centre-backs in Serie A.
Team Talk claims all of the Premier League’s top six clubs will send scouts to watch the 24-year-old when he lines up for Slovakia against Wales in Cardiff this week.
The report also suggests Inter value Skriniar at just £30 million despite the fact he has three years left on his current contract.
In theory, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool will be able to offer Skriniar bigger wages than Spurs, as will Arsenal and Chelsea.
If they are genuinely interested, Tottenham will be hoping the teams competing for Skriniar’s signature don’t qualify for the Champions League, which could lure the Slovakian to a specific club.
Spurs will surely be targeting a new centre-back this summer with Toby Alderweireld set to leave.
Skriniar would be an affordable replacement, but it looks like the Londoners will face plenty of competition.
PLEASE TRY NOT TO LET TOBY LEAVE.
