Tottenham Hotspur are set to act on their interest in Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Perisic, who was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in January, has scored just five goals in 35 appearances across all competitions this season.

Having impressed at the World Cup last summer, the 30-year-old has struggled to rediscover his best form in recent months.

But Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web (via the Star) claims Spurs remain interested in signing Perisic this summer.

After he missed out on a move to the other side of north London, reports suggested Tottenham were also keen on the Croatian.

And now, it is believed Spurs will test the waters with a £21.4 million summer bid, although Inter are said to value Perisic at £30 million.

There are three years left on Perisic’s contract, so it will be a surprise if Inter accept a low offer.

Tottenham are likely to increase their offer if the initial bid is rejected, but they probably won’t want to spend too much money on a 30-year-old.
