Mauricio Pochettino has hinted he could start some young Tottenham Hotspur players against Manchester City on Saturday.

The Spurs boss will not give a Premier League press conference before the trip to the Etihad but did talk to Spurs TV ahead of this weekend’s match.

And Pochettino claimed “young players” could be given a chance over “experience” to avoid any further injury issues.

With that in mind, perhaps the Argentinian is considering giving starting berths to the likes of Kyle Walker-Peters and Davinson Sanchez.

Moussa Sissoko’s injury and the fact Victor Wanyama has played an unusual amount of football lately could even mean 18-year-old Oliver Skipp is handed a start.

  1. Take our lumps on Sat with second side and win out in Prem. That will get us into CL next year- which will be huge when Deadline Day Daniel trys to sign a couple strong players. Lack of depth face-slappingly obvious when Pep can bring in world class players and we have kids like WP and Skipp.

Sounds like Dier and Lamela may be back which will strengthen the side.
