Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Real Betis star Giovani Lo Celso, according to the Sun.
Lo Celso has spent the current season on loan at Real Betis, who have triggered a permanent deal for the central midfielder after an impressive campaign.
He has scored 16 goals and provided five assists in 44 appearances across all competitions this term.
The Sun suggests Betis triggered the permanent deal knowing they may sell Lo Celso this summer and make a huge profit.
Lo Celso was signed for £21.5 million, and the Sun claims Betis could double that fee in the coming weeks.
It is believed Spurs and Everton are mulling over moves for the 23-year-old.
Both clubs are in need of a central midfielder, with Tottenham still requiring a replacement for Mousa Dembele and Everton loanee Andre Gomes set to return to Barcelona.
Gomes has also been linked with Spurs and could turn out to be a cheaper option than Lo Celso.
Regardless of who arrives, it looks like Tottenham will be signing at least one new central midfielder this summer.
