Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir once again, this time by the French media.
Back in January, we relayed reports from Italy suggesting Spurs were considering a move for Fekir either in the then-current transfer window or this summer.
The Londoners didn’t sign anybody in January. In fact, no new signings have arrived at Tottenham since Lucas Moura in January 2018 – what’s he done for the club lately?
But Tottenham are expected to make additions this summer, particularly if the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen depart.
And according to French outlet Le Parisien, Spurs ‘would be interested’ in Fekir if Lyon opt to sell their captain.
The 25-year-old, who has scored 12 goals and provided nine assists across all competitions this season, has just a year remaining on his current contract.
Fekir came close to joining Liverpool last summer but is believed to have failed a medical, scuppering the deal at the last minute.
If Liverpool decide to revive their interest in the Frenchman, perhaps the Champions League final will be a shootout for his signature.
